Francis Okaroh has traveled and studied soccer on three continents (Africa, Europe, and North America) has earned the highest U.S. coaching license available the U.S.S.F. A National License. Francis has played all levels of soccer, here in the United States and internationally. Francis was an All-American selection while playing at Boston University. After leaving Boston University, Francis played for many teams in Europe before playing two years in the MISL with the Cleveland Force. Francis took his talents to the MLS where he played for six summers. Reaching the finals of the MLS Cup in 2000 with the Miami Fusion. Won the MLS Cup and US Open Cup as Defender for the Chicago Fire in 1998. Recognized as Defender of the Year 1996 and 1997 for the New England Revolution. Recent successes include coaching F.C. Greater Boston Bolts Boys Club to four consecutive Mass State Cup Championships plus two in 2006, a Region 1 has won three League Championships, three U.S. Region 1 Championships, and the Adidas U15 Cup as US Youth National Champions in 2005. Most Recently taking over as Director of F.C. Blazers in his first year brought the U17 Boys to the Finals of the US Region 1 Championships. Honored by Women's Division III High School Soccer in Massachusetts as Coach of the Year 2005. In 2005 Francis was inducted in the New England Soccer Hall of Fame and in 2006 the Boston University Hall of Fame. In 2007 Francis returns to his alma Mata as a member of the Boston University Coaching staff. 2009 Named to the Boston University Hall of Fame Board. |
Francis believes that NHS is the place to provide outstanding coaching and demonstrations of fundamental and advanced techniques under the best possible circumstances. Francis is excited about the Ultimate Soccer experience at New Hampton School, in the heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region.
